Our waitlist is currently open. You can add your email address here. Each month we will invite a group of individuals from the waitlist to begin enrollment, based on the order in which they signed up.

- I am on the waitlist. How much longer until I can join?

The amount of individuals that we invite to enroll each month varies based on multiple internal factors. Therefore, we are unable to give an estimate, but we do appreciate your patience! Be sure to check your email (including spam/junk folders) for a message from support@theslimtheory.com.

Medication & Shipments

- When does my medication ship?

Orders ship the third week of each month via USPS & UPS, regardless of membership enrollment date.

- Can I get my medication shipped earlier or later than the scheduled shipping week?

We’re unable to accommodate custom shipping schedules. All medications are shipped once per month during the third week, and we do not offer early or delayed shipments.

If you won’t be available to receive your order during that time, we’re happy to ship it to an alternate address for that month—such as a friend or family member’s home—so you can retrieve it later.

To arrange this, please email support@theslimtheory.com ahead of time with the alternate shipping address before the month’s shipping deadline.

- My medication arrived warm. Is it still safe to use?

Yes, your medication is still safe and effective, even if it arrives warm. While we recommend storing your medication in the refrigerator to help maintain long-term potency, these compounds are not as delicate or volatile as many people assume.

We do ship with ice packs during the warmest months (typically May-August), but this is mainly a precaution—especially in case of shipping delays or extreme heat. It’s completely normal for the ice packs to no longer be cold by the time your package arrives.

As long as your vial is sealed and undamaged, it remains stable and effective, even if it arrives warm. Just be sure to refrigerate it upon arrival and continue following the storage instructions provided in your dosing guide. If your medication is cloudy, discolored (it should be clear like water), or has an odor, please discard and contact support@theslimtheory.com.

- My syringes were missing or damaged. Can I get replacements?

The syringes (and alcohol prep wipes) included with your medication are provided as a free courtesy, not as part of a paid product. Because of this, we do not send replacements or extras.

If your syringes were missing or damaged in transit, you can easily purchase more on Amazon or—depending on your area—at a local pharmacy.

It's also a good idea to keep extras on hand, just in case—accidents happen, whether it's dropping a syringe on the floor while uncapped, bending the tip while drawing up medication, or having one become unusable for any reason.

- My vial doesn't look full—did I receive the correct amount?

Yes, you did receive the correct amount. These medications are powerful and a little goes a long way! Especially at the lower doses, your vial may look virtually empty, but rest assured- there is enough liquid in your vial for your month of doses.

- I can’t get the last bit of medication out of the vial. What should I do?

This is common. The rubber stopper often blocks the needle from reaching the last bit of liquid in the vial.

Most members solve this by using a mini vial decapper to remove the metal crimp and rubber stopper. Once the vial is open, you can easily draw the remaining medication into your syringe.

- My GIP/GLP-1 dosage increased from 5mg to 7.5mg, but the amount of units I inject did not. Is this correct?

Yes, that is correct. The compounding pharmacy uses different formulations for the lower and higher tiers of GIP/GLP-1. Although the number of units you inject for 5mg and 7.5mg is the same, the amount of active GIP/GLP-1 you receive in the 7.5mg dose is greater. The formulation has been adjusted to ensure you're receiving the correct increased amount of medication, even if the volume appears unchanged.

- I have a rash or redness at the injection site. Is that normal?

Yes, this is a common and harmless reaction, especially during the first few injections as your body acclimates to the medication and the active ingredient.

You may notice redness, itching, or a mild rash shortly after injecting. This is typically a localized inflammatory response and should resolve on its own within a few hours to a couple of days.

To reduce irritation:

  • Always rotate your injection sites each week
  • Allow the alcohol prep to dry completely before injecting
  • Inject slowly and steadily to avoid tissue trauma
  • Use a fresh syringe for every injection

If the reaction becomes severe or persistent, please contact your primary care physician for further evaluation.

- Where are SlimTheory medications compounded?

Our medications are compounded in California in our two partnered 503A compounding pharmacies.

- I'm having an issue with my shipment. What do I do?

- I accidentally spilled one of my doses. What do I do?

Please reach out to support@theslimtheory.com. There will be a reship fee of $35.

Dosage & Adjustments

- I think I need a dosage change. How do I request one?

We send a Dosage Consultation Email every month, a few days before your next round is scheduled to be filled. Please wait for this email, read it thoroughly, and answer all of the questions accurately. This allows us to properly assess where you are in your journey and determine the appropriate next dose.

- I want to switch the medication I’m on. How do I do that?

If you're considering switching medications, please wait for your Dosage Consultation Email and fill out the appropriate questionnaire. This ensures we can evaluate your progress and make the best recommendation for your needs.

Membership & Account Changes

- How do I cancel, change, or pause my membership?

We understand that your needs may change. If you’d like to cancel, modify, or pause your membership, please contact our support team at support@theslimtheory.com before your next billing cycle to make adjustments to your account.

- Why can’t I access the members-only page?

If you're having trouble accessing your members-only content, it may be due to a known issue with Shopify’s new login system.

What’s going on?
Shopify recently introduced a password-free login method that uses a one-time code sent to your email. While convenient, it can lead to problems — especially if you accidentally enter the wrong email. In many cases, Shopify creates a brand-new account without alerting you.

How to check if this happened to you:
1. Go to your account page on our website.

2. Click on the menu icon in the upper right corner of the page.

3. Look at the email address shown there — is it the one you used to sign up with SlimTheory?

4. Check your order history on that page. If your membership order isn’t listed, you're likely logged into the wrong account.

What to do next:

  • Log out of the account.
  • Sign back in using the same email you used when you joined SlimTheory.
